I believe Pilotwings is a launch title. No 3DS e-shop and no Ocarina of Time at launch, but oh well!
Changed my preorder 3 times now. GAME has it for �229, Play at 219 and Shopto at 199 (they are freakin brilliant at preorders btw, they dispatch early via recorded courier at no extra charge).

Great info here for a novice, which I certainly am.
I just picked up a nikon d3100 today after several weeks of reading here and other sites.

True, physical plastic home button is very easy to get micro scratches which are pretty visible. Again, capacitive home button flush with the glass will not have micro scratches like on plastic.
The issue which arises now though is the responsiveness of capacitive buttons. As in maybe they lose responssiveness after a while.

So far the push notifications are working very well. However, the contact syncing actually deleted all of my contacts and replaced them with some contacts from facebook that were NOT even close to being correct. I'm not too happy about this at all. It ended up pushing these changes to my MobileMe cloud so I have basically lost all of my contacts. Way to go facebook!

Typing this on a 64GB 3G White Verizon rev and moved from an original 64GB 3G ATT that I had filled up (Apple store said it was the first they seen....) that I've had since launch.
Aside from screwing myself by messing up on the purchase back-up/data back-up (have my content back but "lost" my saves), I'm pumped.
The 2 smoking fast, Infinity Blade has no more slow down and looks AMAZING, GarageBand is more responsive, surfing is better, WIFI range seems better though I am reconnecting to the network more often (haven't tried Verizon 3G yet).
...get the 2 over the 1 for your primary device.
I may get a 1 though if I can find it cheaply and for my kids. They last 2 mornings I've had to cringe when my little ones are "mucking" up they screen watching a video at 4-5AM.

Here we go kids!! Expect lot's of grandstanding and some real knee jerk legislation cause this IS the year to gear up for the big election. I wish someone would inform people that it's their responsibility to be informed consumers AND parents. My kid racked up $380 in cell downloads in one month. I didn't need my senator to step in. I took away her phone for a month, blocked her ability to purchase ANYTHING on it, and worked out the bill with my provider (AT&T) who practically wiped it all away. This is just going to burden us with more laws and subsequently, more taxes in the form of direct taxation of products, indirect taxes by way of price hikes due to a rise in business tax, or BOTH.

depends. This shut down I blame 70% on GOP an 30% on the dems.
Reason Dem hold 30% is they screwed up by not getting a budget passed in 2010 when they controlled everything.
And to think in 3-4 months we will see yet a new budget fight happen for 2012 budget.
Before that we have the debt ceiling limit vote. If they don't vote to raise it, I shudder to think what will happen on the stock market.

I messed with it for about 5 minutes and it's nowhere near Soundtrack, IMO. Now I'm not an audio or video pro, but I like to do some tinkering. But as someone else stated, Adobe Audition is much more competition to Soundtrack is than SoundBooth.
Also, this doesn't necessarily need to be a UB. Heck, from what I saw it doesn't really even fill a need with the Intel Macs. Logic and Soundtrack seem to be much better options.

That is hiding specs from people that would really like to know. That is the people who read the spec sheets and have good reason to do so. Little things add up be it the RAM in an iPhone/iPad, what the SD slot is capable of or any of a number of other devices that are poorly speced on the machine. Is it that difficult to just be honest with your users? Further where is the advantage of not coming clean?
The info gleaned above would seem to indicate that the port can do 250 MB/s less overhead. That would mean that the SD card could become one excellent boot device if cards with that speed actually become available. That would mean one could raid the two drives in the server and keep the OS on the SD card. That ought too make for a nice file server.
The other thing would be the possibility of booting alternative OS'es in a reasonable fashion. Seems like a great way to run Linux.
Ugly is the reality that the tech has to now catch up with the standard. This could take awhile and I'm not sure we will ever see two terabyte SD cards.

Why are you adding people that you only met hours earlier if you are concerned about privacy issues? I really don't think this new feature is anything to get too alarmed about. It's like any other information people already post on Facebook—just think before you post.
That said, I have no intention of using this new feature. But I don't think I'm a typical Facebook user. I only log in about once a week, and rarely post anything.

Question for folks who have gone (or purchased ticket voucher). From the looks of it, you buy a voucher, which you then redeem online for a ticket, correct? Can you buy the voucher now, but fill in the attendee ticket details at a later time? I'm going to buy, but there's the off chance I won't be able to attend, so I'd like to give the ticket to someone else. The ticket holder needs photo ID to get in, so they obviously can't use my ticket. So I'd have to wait until I know for sure to claim the voucher, or put the other developer's information in.
Can that be done? Or do I need to claim the ticket at time of purchase? Based on the recent track record of WWDC selling out in a week, I'd like to make the purchase ASAP. Thanks.
